Cahaba Brewing Company started small in Birmingham’s Pepper Place/Lakeview district but quickly outgrew its first location. In January 2016, they moved to a larger facility in East Avondale, housed in the Historical Continental Gin Complex. This spacious 51,000-square-foot building allowed Cahaba to expand its production capabilities and offer an inviting Taproom experience.

At our Piggly Wiggly stores throughout Greater Birmingham and beyond, you can find a variety of Cahaba Brewing’s most popular and unique beers. From the crisp and refreshing Blonde to the hoppy Oka Uba IPA, the hazy River Haze IPA, and the new smooth Del Rio Mexican Lager, there’s a Cahaba beer for every palate. We also carry seasonal and limited-edition brews like Oktoberfest and DD’s Cherry Hibiscus Sour, so you can enjoy something new with each visit.

Cahaba Brewing is committed to quality and innovation. Their production facility includes advanced brewing equipment, such as three 60 barrel fermenter tanks, four 120 barrel fermenter tanks, and three brite tanks. They also maintain their original 3.5 barrel system for experimental brews, ensuring that every beer is crafted with the same care and creativity that started it all. With on-site packaging using a Wild Goose canning line, every can you pick up at Piggly Wiggly is fresh from Birmingham.
