Ingredients for making pulled pork nachos with cheese and BBQ sauce, featuring BBQ sauce bottles, fresh pork ribs, shredded cheese, tortilla chips, guacamole, jalapeños, onions, cilantro, and spices.
  • 2 lbs Fresh Frozen Small Pork Spareribs
  • 1 cup Kraft BBQ Sauce (assorted, 17.5-18 oz.)
  • 2 cups Borden’s Chunk or Shredded Cheese (assorted, 6-12 oz.)
  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Sour cream and guacamole, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Pork Spareribs:

A baking tray with seasoned pork ribs on a foil-lined sheet, ready to be cooked in an oven set to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The ribs are sprinkled with herbs and seasoning, and the kitchen countertop has salt and pepper in small bowls.
Seasoned pork ribs prepared for baking, placed on a foil-lined tray in an oven preheated to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, ready to be slow-cooked to perfection.

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the fresh frozen small pork spareribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Season with salt and pepper or your favorite dry rub if desired. Cover the ribs tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.

Step 2: Shred the Pork:

Remove the spareribs from the oven and let them cool slightly. Using two forks, shred the meat from the bones and discard any excess fat. Place the shredded pork in a bowl and mix with 1/2 cup of Kraft BBQ Sauce. Set aside.

Increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C). On a large baking sheet, spread a layer of tortilla chips. Top with half of the shredded pork mixture, followed by a generous sprinkle of Borden’s shredded cheese. Add another layer of chips and repeat with the remaining pork and cheese.
